👤 How to make Dragon Claws for kids

Although our claws are designed to be worn by any average adult, sizing them for a child is very easy, simply reduce the Scale in the Print Settings from 100% to 95%.

🧐 How the Dragon Claws Template works

The Dragon Claws pattern contains a total of 26 pieces spread over 10 pages.

The pieces are labeled with #numbers, which you must follow in ascending order to assemble the design: #1 → #2 → #3.

Each of the pieces also has numbers on their edges that will allow you to identify the junction points between different pieces.

The seller was very prompt in responding to my many questions back and forth leading up to my purchase of this and another pattern. The files were easy to scale and have printed on card stock at a local printing place. The learning curve was steep with assembling the very first piece but then it was easy to establish a pattern to make things easier. Do yourself a favor and use a metal ruler and xacto for cuts, metal ruler and blunt object for scoring along fold lines (I used a mechanical pencil tip with lead retracted), and quick set hot glue to allow you a few seconds to manipulate the pieces as you fit them together but then for it to set quickly. I began with strong glue stick and it took way too long as I made several sets for my kids. Paint the sections before finalizing them and gluing together. I love the tree plantings!
I am making it, for this Halloween, you have to be patient, because they are spectacular.
